Originally founded by Francis J. Lanak and Joseph M.Hanna, the firm relocated from Los Angeles to Orange County in 1987.
The goal of each Orange County construction contract attorney at the firm has always been to provide personalized, responsive, and economical service to every client. Joined by Craig P. Bronstein in 1994, the firm has experienced continued growth over the last ten years, while maintaining the same levels of quality and service that have been its focus since 1977. Centrally located between the Newport and Santa Ana Freeways, Lanak & Hanna remains at the center of business in Southern California. One hour from San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties, the offices are conveniently minutes away from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport.
Lanak & Hanna concentrates its practice on construction and surety industry claims litigation, with additional specializations in creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, general business litigation, and related transactional matters. The members of the firm have extensive knowledge and expertise in all of these fields. Mr. Lanak, Mr. Hanna, and other Lanak & Hanna lawyers have over 25 years experience in civil litigation before state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. Mr. Hanna regularly passes along his experience to practitioners and laypersons by conducting seminars and other educational forums in mechanics’ lien law and related fields. Fees for service are charged on an hourly basis, but, in line with the firm philosophy of client-based service, the opportunity exists to enter into fee arrangements based on task-based schedules. Be it hourly, tasked-based or a combination of the two schedules, a fee budget will be provided on request prior to any work being undertaken.
