Bio:

Amber Kim is unrelenting in her efforts to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Client’s testimonials reference her zeal and integrity in service of their trial litigation needs.

Amber’s primary law practice is in surety law encompassing contractor license bond and dealer motor vehicle bonds.  Significant achievements include prevailing in surety defense in bench trials and an expedited jury trial, obtaining favorable judgments in motions for summary judgment on various issues including indemnity and contractor licensing, favorable settlements after mandatory settlement conferences or mediation, and handling complex multiple contractor license bond issues and interpleaders.

Amber has been a key member of Lanak & Hanna’s several practice groups, including probate surety and creditors’ rights. Noteworthy successes in those practices: review of over a decade of subpoenaed bank records to prepare complex and ultimately approved probate accounting, obtaining judgments against successor and alter ego entities, and regularly recovering damages, losses, and attorney fees for client’s indemnity contracts. Amber was also a key member serving as second chair to Lanak & Hanna’s Principal Attorney Michael Murray, in obtaining a multi-million judgment in fraudulent transfers and a judgment creditor suit.

Amber is a member of the Church of Southland in Anaheim, serving in their food pantry and children ministry. She is a proud sponsor and participant in various charities that support finding a cure for leukemia and pediatric cancers.
